Review: Craving Constellations
Craving Constellations by Nicole Jacquelyn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This is from the RIde or Die Kind of Love Anthology. 4.5 Stars.
Brenna grew up in the Aces MC life. Her father was the VP, and she had a clubhouse full of surrogate brothers, uncles, and even a mother in the President's old lady, Vera. However, Brenna wanted something different than the MC life, and went away to college. On a visit back to the clubhouse, she meets Dragon, who doesn't know who she is, and their attraction is instant. She spends the night with him, and in the morning she goes back to her new world. Five years later, she come back to the Aces MC, escaping an abusive politically connected husband and carrying in tow with her a 4 year old daughter the splitting image of her one night stand, Dragon.
The ramifications of Brenna's running away and returning reverberate through the whole novel. What a heartfelt, sexy, and awesome read. The chemistry between Dragon and Brenna is ridiculous, and you feel the pain they both suffer as they deal with their decisions. Despite the fact that they had a one night stand, they shared more in that night than most people do in three months of dating. Some parts were intense, some surprising. Great read.
