Ever since the extended trailer for "Manifest" on NBC premiered, I thought it was cool and knew I wanted to watch the premiere. The premise is this: A plane flying back from Jamaica to the USA hits a bit of turbulence, but is otherwise fine. However, when the plane lands, the passengers have found out that they have been missing and presumed dead for 5 1/2 years.
Say what?
From there it gets a little mystical. We are going along this ride mostly with Michaela, who was on the plane with her brother and terminally ill nephew; the rest of the family took their original flight. She starts to hear herself whispering in her own head...but it ends up helping to save people. And it turns out her brother can hear himself, too. All of the passengers are connected by some mystical thread, and it will be so fun to unwind this mystery...as long as the resolution to this series is that they were actually dead the whole time (glaring at you, Lost.)
Anyhoo, Twitter was on fire last night, and yours truly has a featured tweet! Check it out below, and check out Manifest Mondays on NBC at 10pm Eastern time.
