What a great thriller! This book was an intriguing read about a down on her luck but talented college pianist who gains the attention of the Midnight Society-a secret society that caters to the rich and powerful. It was going to be simple-play the piano for these people, make a bucket of cash, keep it a secret, and go on about your business. However, Aria catches the eye of Shadow, the head of the Society, and he chooses her to be his wife. After a whirlwind romance, they end up falling in love, but not everyone is happy about it and someone comes after her. In fact, there is a psycho gunning for everyone Shadow cares about, and the twists and turns in this mystery keep the reader on the edge of their seat. What a hot, fun, thrilling ride. I'm definitely in for the next one in the series!
