Review: No in Between
No in Between by Lisa Renee Jones
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This may have been the strongest entry into the series for me! Chris and Sara are stronger than ever, it seems like Rebecca's mystery is closer to being solved than ever, and at least one villain has been exposed to stand justice...hopefully.
Ava is in custody, but she is fighting back, and fighting dirty. Mark is not himself, as he is dealing with Ava's confession of killing Rebecca and a possibly terminally ill mother in New York. It seems like Crystal from Riptide in New York may have a deeper connection to Mark than Sara knew. However, though all the media scrutiny, the police interference, and watching their backs, Sara and Chris have resolved to work together to work through their triggers and focus on their future. They have as much chemistry as ever, and their relationship is actually very sweet. Chris continues to assert his Dominance and train Sara in the ways of the submissive, emphasizing trust.
There are still more pieces of the mystery of Rebecca's journals to unravel, and this entry was a juicy one!
