Review: Beautiful Redemption

Beautiful Redemption Beautiful Redemption by Jamie McGuire
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

If you aren't familiar with the Maddox siblings, what you don't know is that they are a bunch of heartland hotties whose names all begin with T and they are as different as they are similar (even the twins.)

Thomas Maddox is a high ranking FBI agent, unbeknownst to his family. Because of some trouble that his little brother Travis got into (different book) Thomas has been trying to do his best to get him out of trouble. Liis Lindy is a linguistics expert in the FBI and new to the San Diego office run by Thomas. Somehow these two spies managed to have a one night stand before Liis's first day without knowing who the other was.

Liis was a badass, which I appreciated. I'm not sure how much FBI agents are sleeping together, with subordinates or colleagues, but it was a fun read. Thomas was sexy and a tad cranky, which floats my boat. The supporting characters were hilarious, but there was also a nice amount of intrigue and danger.
